Bikram Yoga Postures #23 & #24 Head to Knee Pose & Stretching Pose












This combination of poses creates a great stretch in the sciatic nerve. If you've ever had sciatica, you know how painful and debilitating it can be. In the first two parts of this combo pose, it is important to touch that forehead to the knee, just like in Posture #10, Standing Separate Leg Head to Knee, even if it means bending the knee way up. The goal is to lock the knees, which as you can see I've almost got. As for the third part of this combo, Stretching Pose, I'm so far from doing it right that I am not posting a picture of me trying that one.
